Mic'ing a choir or drum kit
The more microphones you bring into "live sound" the more challenging it is to balance them for the room sound. And of course if you're also streaming to a virtual audience you have to have a different mix.
In this video I'm going to give you some tips about how to setup microphones for a choir, choral group. Plus I'll briefly review the challenges with drum kits and how to put mics on them.
Thankfully in my work I rarely find myself doing concerts where I have to deal with these things. Thus, I am not an expert in either of these things.
