DI Boxes
Direct Input Boxes (DI Boxes) are the interface between the instrument and the audio mixer. Typically they are used when you have an instrument (a digital keyboard/piano, guitar, etc.) to connect to the Mic channel of your mixer. But we also use them to go the other way. Many mixers only have line-level output on their main or auxiliary outputs and they need to go to the external device (i.e. a video camera or audio recorder).
Please watch this video to learn more about DI Boxes. Leave me comments here on the website or on the channel.
